That’s a lot to add in 1 off-season but I like it. Some of these moves should’ve been made last off-season but it is what it is. 3rd line center is a must for me. Colton, Jenner, Bennett, or Strome would fit nicely. And I like the Cernak, Foegele, and Carrier ideas. It was 2 trade deadlines ago that Adams publicly said his team gets bullied. It would be nice if he finally did something about it.

Kane is just as bad as Skinner defensively. He’s already said no to Buffalo. Why keep trying again? Not to mention Buffalo is his home he already picked ghost town Detroit over us like seriously why? Carrying kulich as an extra forward just seems dumb to me. What’s he going to learn? He didn’t improve this season in the AHL so doesn’t really seem we should even bring him up. Why trade Ryan Johnson? Just trade the 11th straight across for Bennett or Kulich? We definitely don’t need the 11th or Kulich tbh. All in all didn’t like it outside of the Carrier signing. You got rid of Skinner’s contract but now it last 6 seasons and brought in an equally as bad defensive player. But yes Kane is better offensively.

I think some of the FA signings weren’t high enough salary to draw them to Buffalo. Frankly we will need to spend some of the recent draft capital to make those depth additions

Everyone keeps saying Adams will lose his job if we don’t make the playoffs and I think that would be a serious mistake. Adams has a great plan that he has been sticking to which is a commitment to growing a young team. That could have massive payoff if we don’t have tunnel vision and obsess over just making the playoffs. Real rebuilds take time. I think it’s going to be a good year but I wish our fans would look at the bigger picture and ultimate goal. Not make rash decisions right now just because want to make the playoffs.

I think if we're getting Dowd he'd be our 4th line center. (Krebs should be projected as a 3rd line center). I'd love to get Bennett and Carrier to add bite to the lineup

UFAs im going after Debrusk Boston, and Dakota Joshua Van or Ryan Lomberg FLA for the 4th line . On D Id also say goodbye to Clague and Bryson . Id try and sign UFA right shot D man Brett Pesce Carolina or Chris Tanev Dallas or Josh Brown Utah and put one of them on the 2nd D pair with Owen Power who would get to stay on his strong side , the left side. Samuelsson and Clifton would be my 3rd pair with Ryan Johnson as my 7th D man . Also with these moves Adams keeps his 1st round pick and selects D man Carter Yakemchuk from the WHL. Some really good ideas Matt , do like few of your picks regarding the retooling of the 3rd & 4th lines and Lindy has always had a knack finding players who fit those 3rd & 4th line roles on former Sabres teams which is why I'd like him to have the final say in dealing at the draft and we have enough depth to attract a couple of impact players for those lines and let's hope his hands aren't tied by Adams. Would like to see a blockbuster deal with Philly as Lindy and Torts have a lot of history together.
